The closest Google got me was "The nonchondritic Pt/Pd ratios and Pt enrichment in the island-arc mantle xenoliths". Or worse "A comparative investigation was done on the interaction of glycerol using polyaniline supported Pt nanoparticles, Pt-Pd bimetallic nanoparticles" Certainly would explain the crunchiness on your waffles.
