Subject: Re: [Leica] Wrist pain ergonomics >>Using a mouse? Right handed? Switch to left handed... Keeps one's mind balanced :-)<<<< Hi Bob, Without Mark getting x-rays or other medical attention you've given him the best advice he can try at the moment. Free! :-) Switch the mouse to his left hand and quickly learn how to work it left handed. I had to do that a few years ago due to a shoulder injury and it was quite easy to work with the "wrong hand" as we maybe accustomed to. Sure eliminated a the pain and pill taking. ted ----- Original Message ---- From: Mark Rabiner <mark@rabinergroup.com> To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> Sent: Tuesday, August 12, 2008 9:26:34 PM Subject: [Leica] Wrist pain ergonomics My new challenge in this wonderful new life of mine is intense wrist pain. My right wrist. I always liked my right wrist and hand. Last three days it seems threatening to give out on me. What's going on? Tunnel carpel no doubt. I have to figure out fast what I'm doing wrong ergonomically. I've Googled wrist pain and am not coming up with a concise computer ergonomics info panel; so I can correct my situation. I know this happens to everybody. Now its me. I'm a very nice guy I promise I need to not have my right wrist and forearm freak out on me. Inquiring wrists want to know. Squeeze a sponge? Rise my chair? mark@rabinergroup.com Mark William Rabiner _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
