Thanks for the report Robert. The Nikon system certainly looks promising.

The 24-70 CZ lens  for the Sony is also first-class, with the added bonus of 
IS  built into the camera. Sony do not yet have a wide or tele zoom to 
compare with the new Nikkor zooms. Sony are supposed to announce - at a 
European press conference on the 14th - a CZ 17-35 zoom and a full frame 
body. The FF Sony is rumoured to use a new 24MP sensor which is expected to 
find its way into a new  Nikon  (D3x?).

You are right, I will be saving my pesos and do not expect to make any moves 
until after photokina.
