I was skeptical that I could use it with my poor arthritic thumbs, but Tim Isaac sent one for me to try out on my M8 and I wouldn't be without it now. Instead of putting pressure on my thumb, as I was afraid it might, it just gives a great balance to the camera and makes it easier to hold even with my arthritic hands. I'm sure I can hold the camera steadier with it and my hand doesn't cramp after holding it for hours. I'm definitely going to order one for my other M8: http://matchtechnical.com/thumbsup.aspx . Tim Isaac and Tom Abrahamson both make wonderful additions to the Leicas. Just a happy Thumbs Up user!
