As everyone is being uniformly vague. Inquiring photogs want to know! I'd guess 1600 based on nothing but dumb intuition. 1600 is not so great I've found on a nikon d200. And imagine its very doable with a D300. While with the full frames many stops faster than that. mark@rabinergroup.com Mark William Rabiner > From: Lottermoser George <imagist3@mac.com> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> > Date: Mon, 21 Jul 2008 20:54:54 -0500 > To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] How to get an M8 for $3200... > > I believe many of us are on the same page in these matters. > Regarding the effect of the glass on the image qualities: > The Leica prime glass on the 5D out perform the Canon zooms at > almost any focal length. > yet > With the same Leica glass - The DMR image files out perform the 5D > image files at all but the highest iso speeds > > Fond regards, > George > > george@imagist.com > http://www.imagist.com > http://www.imagist.com/blog > http://www.linkedin.com/in/imagist > > > > On Jul 21, 2008, at 8:31 PM, Henning Wulff wrote: > >> then also because of the very high quality of the lenses available >> for the Leica, and the complete lack thereof for the Canon. > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
