Hi everyone,
I haven't posted for a few weeks - partly because I've been preoccupied with
work (the department I work in has just been outsourced) and we've been on
our summer holidays.
Week 26 - taken during one of my lunchtime walks - I was getting the hang of
the 'Flexizone focusing' on the G9.

Week 27 - Wind turbine - we had the opportunity to visit a local wind farm.
The weather wasn't very kind, but I got a few OK shots - M8, CV 15mm.

Week 28 Rome! - I figured this would work better in B&W.

The holiday was quite an adventure (for us). A bit of a grand tour of Italy
by Train. We took the Eurostar from London to Paris, the overnight
'Palatino' from Paris to Rome, where we spent four nights.
Then it was off to Florence for three nights, before spending some time with
My sister and brother-in-law who have a house in the Piemonte region.
Finally, we took a TGV from Turing to Paris, then Eurostar back to London.
All in all, it was great fun and we travelled as light as possible. My
camera outfit comprised a Canon G9, a bunch of SD cards and a Jobo Giga-one
hard disk.
