I think I've sent over 1000 dollars the last 6 months. Inflation just tears into it. I do have a paypal. I might very well take you up on this Didier. We can never send much ... inflation just eats it up, we have to send often instead. What has killed me are school fees. I pay for one of the children to go to school (a girl, I figure the country wouldn't have sunk so low if a woman had been running it ... need the educated women for the future). I pay 250 USD and that is supposed to last a term. Fees get paid, but with inflation at huge amounts (more than any country ever in history) when that 250 USD gets converted to local dollars and pays the fees, it only lasts a few short weeks. Then the school demands more money. They cannot accept payment in USD so it always has to be exchanged, and that is when good money turns to dirt. I just thought I'd give a little insight into how the situation is. Thanks Didier.
