there are also ziess lenses manual focus for nikon too. but the
quality of the primes need much improvements for nikon

when they roll out the next camera based on the sony 24 meg, the
playing field is level!! even pentax and sony will have a 20 meg
camera. then we will be back to basics and a good lens systems will be
important again

meanwhile leica is stock in deciding about the upgrade of the M8 (as
of right now it seems up in the air according to one of the dealers)
