My 1952 Summarit, ser# 999984 has a 14 leaf diaphragm where my 1937
Xenon ser# 37505 has only 6. The Xenon, with perfect uncoated glass,
has slightly better performance than my slightly hazy Summarit. It
will go to DAG as soon as I receive the two lenses he is fixing for
back focus. I consider both lenses jewels of Leica craftsmanship. But
low contrast wide open.
