Cheers Luis -----Mensaje original----- De: lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org] En nombre de Alastair Firkin Enviado el: lunes, 02 de junio de 2008 15:43 Para: Leica Users Group Asunto: [Leica] 8 years in the making: here it is. The Leica Users Group Project book: The Family of Man 2 Project is ready for purchase. It is a big book 318 pages and over 500 images from many of us here on the group. The book is the publication of 5 years of work from 2000, and after a few attempts to have it published by commercial groups, it is now self published here. The LUG has been using BLURB to make year books and personal records, but no LUG book has been on this scale. It is not cheap. Being 13 by 11 inches and 318 pages, its a large work, BUT I think it works well. I know I will have made mistakes etc, BUT it is now up to you to decide; http://tiny.cc/HOd7P <http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/invited/157416/449fb7ad2d7bf07640384cb6eff6d 7b5> I am trying to make a smaller cheaper version, encouraged by Steve Barbour, but there are a few technical problems, that I will ask the group to try solving. Until then, this is your chance to see work from Ted, Tina, John, George and Ringo. Cheers and here's luck: let me know what you think Alastair _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
