Maybe you could try about .25 darker as an alternate? You have plenty of saturation, it's only maybe the highlights are a little bright to my eye on screen. They are certainly not washed out, there is detail visible everywhere. This one is struggling in a corner of our yard, but produced a few colorful blooms this week. It is very nearly the same as the wild ones that brighten the mountain landscape. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Original+Rhododendron.tif.html C&C appreciated, as usual.
