The digital has become our appreciation with a look to the "aseptic perfection", I like the value of the imperfection tending to a smooth nice effect of these lovely old lenses (mine was re-coated recently), with a classical film as Agfa APX 100 (I know you like it too). For the second picture I'm absolutely agree with your opinion. Thank you very much for your kind words about my "new" IIIF, I've purcahsed a minty one on e-Bay at a reasonnable low cost and fully serviced by Malcolm Taylor, the rangefinder has been replaced by a new one!, it is an incredible pleasure handling his camera. Many thanks for looking and for your kind comments, Kind regards Luis -----Mensaje original----- De: lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org] En nombre de Leonard Taupier Enviado el: martes, 20 de mayo de 2008 1:15 Para: Leica Users Group Asunto: Re: [Leica] Two different break times Hi Luis, The photo with the pigeons is especially good. I would think the negative for this photo is especially nice. This film always has good tonality in this type of light but this one in particular is perfect. The 1st photo lacks the wide tonal range because of the very low light. But the sharpness of the man shows how good the Summitar can be wide open. It's too bad you couldn't get the lady in focus as well. And congratulations on replacing your IIIf. I hope you found one in as good condition as your lost one.
