Basically, I use M42 to EOS adapters (they are the cheapest) as the base and 'graft' the lenses onto it using epoxy (very primitive but works!). Shims are used to adjust the back focus so that it can be focused to infinity. The adapted 50/3.5 Color-Skopar is as thin as, if not thinner than, any available pancake lens. My next project might be the 50/2.8 Tessar from a Werramatic. This camera has a cracked rangefinder but otherwise still in perfect working condition. That's why I am hesitant in 'butchering' it.
