Parallels works quite well for moderate use, but if you use Boot Camp, you'll have the best Windows computer around as well. I like the ability to switch back and forth as needed, hence use Parallels at work on a MacBook, but use Boot Camp on my home iMac (very rarely) and strongly agree that Vista is to be avoided at all costs....
