I have both and must use the Novoflex with larger lenses. The Novoflex is heavy spring loaded to keep the lens tight to the camera body. All other adapters just slit and spread soft metal strips to keep the lens tight, which it doesn't. I have had lenses fall off the camera with the cheaper adapters. That doesn't happen with the Novoflex. The focus confirmation adapters use the same mounts with the chip pcb glued in. I got fed up with the poor quality adapters and now installed split image screens for my Canon EOS 1Ds Mk II body. I also find the focus is more accurate. i don't know what Novoflex is selling where you are but it can't be the same adapter that B&H gets $255 for. I use the Leica 560mm Telyt and 280mm f2.8 APO Telyt-R. Only the Novoflex can handle it.
