For that particular shot of the lighthouse, I did not use a polariser. However I did make frequent use of one (the Leica swing-out model) on this trip. Marvellous on the gleaming and colourful waters. I'm quite pleased to get good exposures of those bright white lighthouses in bright sun, on slide film. I must be getting better at exposure reading. Polarised shots of the lighthouse gave me near black sky behind, reading the exposure the same way. I no longer have that lovely M7, sob.
