I'm told the state test is fairly extensive, from the general
physics of photography to being able to mix chemicals from scratch.
Never mind retouching negs and the like. I wonder if they've included
digital imaging?

Hello, Slobodan,
Geselle, Meister and Techniker (Apprentice, Master and technician).
the laws preventing outsiders entering certain professions here
originated in the early days of National Socialism as an instrument
for keeping "Non Germans" (you know who I mean) out of the trades and
professions. The European Union is trying to break down these laws at
present, but is still meeting with strong opposition from the
established "Guilds".
