I agree, any time of the year is the wrong time for something like this to happen, but thankfully my sister, Posy, will be with my mum over the Christmas period and into the New Year. We wanted to get over to the UK to help, but my mother insisted that we should stay here and enjoy Christmas as best we can with our son. We have memories in great store: a straightforward Yorkshire character with a very dry sense of humour, generous, patient (taught me photography), tolerant and a great bloke to have a pint and a pie with in any pubs we visited (and he always insisted on buying the first round). My best wishes to you and your family for the festive season, and thank you again for your kind thoughts.
