Subject: [Leica] Does the M8 warranty transfer?

I can't find the info on the Leica site, but when I checked with Leica USA
about six months ago, I was told that it does not (or at least did not at
that time). Paying for all repairs sort of destroys the used M8 market for
me, with all the random problems people have reported here.
