Noise appears less than the Natura 1600 that Sonny sent me more than a year ago, probably less than the grain of Fuji 800 Press film which was very good at the 8X10 to 11X14 print size. The Canon's are cleaner but do not exhibit the fine detail that I can get with the M8. The Nikon's appear to have less noise but the fine detail is gone compared to the M8. Really, this is not a religious war, just a choice of tools which do what you want to do. No different than my current training to get my 45 ACP into 2 inches at 25 yards.(1 centimeter at 25 meters for most of the world) Different tools work better for different people so choose what works best for you.
