Los Caracoles is a timeless place that still subsist against the many changes on the actual Barcelona plainty of tourists, on 1965 it was very different, many streets of the old "Barrio Chino" has disapeared, maybe you remember La Barceloneta, an area close to the beach with many Restaurants on the beach to eat very good fish and paella..., this area has completely changed after the Olympic Games on 1992, now is an elegant and touristic area but it has losst the old charachter, but you can always have a good paella! The two kids playing really tells a story. Second place: The two disappointed senoras. I know I would be disappointed; love that Ice Cream! By the way; is Las Caracoles still in business? Be paella I ever tasted (back in 1965 as a young US Marine on shore leave...).!
