Zeiss-Ikon Taxo c1927 Hi Folks: I went to the Brimfield Antique Flea Market a little over a week ago... <http://www.hemenway.com/Brimfield-07132007/> While there I bought this quarter-glass-plate camera. I wanted to take some photos with it but don't have any glass plates, especially in Ektachrome. So I cut some pieces of poster board and discovered that 3-1/4 x 4-1/4 would fit perfectly, and that the springs behind the film would push it against the film plane just as it would with a glass plate. I cut some 4x5 to size and shot a couple of photos at Lanes Cove on Sunday afternoon. My lab graciously offered to do a special E-6 run for the odd size. Here's the results: <http://www.hemenway.com/Zeiss-Ikon-TAXO-07222007/> Life can be fun. Jim _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
