Ric, the first especially is an absolute gem. It reminds me of the National 
Geographic Rural America type atmosphere. My best wishes

The long weekend was followed by my big deadline week (NC Mason just  
finished today). The upshot -- there was no fun this week.

I'm pretty sappy right after putting Emily (my eldest) on a plane  
Wednesday morning. She's headed to Budumburam Refugee Camp in Ghana  
for two months. I'm hoping she finds an Internet spot there soon to  
let us know she's okay. I did much better last summer packing her off  
to Alaska.

Anyway, that means I don't care what other pictures I got this week,  
the PAW is Emily fishing at our place in Little Washington on  
Memorial Day (Monday). Two versions for now.
