George, I note the smiley, however it is a point I care about and I'd like to add two cents. We are all aware of the "truism" that Ms are for capturing spontaneous, fleeting, decisive moments. Fine. They are also for carefully crafted static opportunities. If your medium of choice is the smaller format, then the best glass carefully used on a good tripod will make sharper pictures. Most especially evident when your goal is to make larger prints. That is physics rather than romance ;-) I'll take the best support I can manage when the situation warrants.
