George,
Thank you very much for the question.  I find that when shown things that
are out of context or defined by very tight constraints they become
abstract, forcing the human brain to step back and consider both what is in
front of his/her eyes but also why is this being shown?  Your ice images are
a perfect example of images causing my brain to create content or meaning or
a story.  Good stuff.
