I know there are those of us out there who bemoan the loss of traditional methods but some benefits do accrue . . I prefer film because I know what it will do. Once my Coolscan is warmed up I'm as digital as any proud M8 owner. At this point in our image capture methodology film still has a quality edge, right? Not only that, I've got 39-year-old negatives which can still be printed. And on the subject of printing, I'd not trade my Epson for a Focomat V35 and a box of Agfa Brovira 11x14.
