Not so, as Bill can testify. Down in Lubbock (where I grew up) we have farmers who run cattle - caps and work boots - we do our cattle work in pickups and ATV's. Up here, they still have ranchers that farm. Boots, hats and horses. Any given day in one of the cafes, you will find cowboy hats and hand sewn boots that cost more than I make in a month. The horse is more than just a recreational vehicle, it's a part of your working staff.
