So sad to be languishing in middle to lower pecking order (33, 35, 47, 49 for me)! I'd love to see some discussion on pics, especially critiques from the judges on their choices. I confess to seeing some pictures that I think are marvellous and am mystified on some of the other rankings! That's why I'm not a judge, I guess. Cheers Hoppy -----Original Message----- Subject: [Leica] Results of April 2007 LUG photo contest First prize: Montie Talbert Second prize: Steve Barbour Third prize: Jeff Moore Honorable mentions: Steve Barbour, Mads Christensen, Bob Palmieri See everything at http://contest.leica-users.org/main.php/v/0704/ The May 2007 contest is now open, and the theme is "Repetition". Let me say it again: the theme is "Repetition". The images in the April 2007 folder are listed in decreasing order of the score assigned by the judges. I'm not sure if this is a good idea; let's see what happens. The April 2007 contest was the 8th, and this is the first time that a color picture has taken first place. In three of those eight contests, a color picture has taken second place. I think this says more about the judges than it does about the entries.
