The newspaper assigned me to shoot the harvest. When I got to the farm, my contact asked if I was ready to take the picture. I looked out over the field and saw four combines, each working a separate part of the field. I said yes. He spoke into a two-way radio and said "there photobgrapher's here". Whoooosh! All four combines immediately drove into formation for me to take the picture. When I finished, the contact radiod "He's done." Whoooosh--all four combines went back to their respective corners of the field. Anything for art. --Bill ----- Original Message ---- From: Jeff S. The machinery dates your image. How long's it been since you've seen a 4 row combine at work? Is that taken with a landscape camera, or is it just a really good CROP? ;-) Jeff M ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bill Clough" <bill_clough@yahoo.com> To: "Leica Users Group" <LUG@leica-users.org> Sent: Thursday, April 12, 2007 10:53 PM Subject: [Leica] Panhandle: Flying in formation > USA > TEXAS > CORPUS CHRISTI > 12 April 2007 > > Hi there-- > > Here is the latest Texas Panhandle submission: > > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Bill1941/Panhandle/Wheat+Harvest2-0836+June+1968.jpg.html > _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
