Subject: [Leica] DMR firmware?

Would be great if there was a consortium of software engineers to
re-write firmware.

For years I having been using the completely re-written os for my
music player called "RockBox". (www.rockbox.org)
It was written by many authors in the manner of Linux. It works on
many different MP3 players.

Over the years it has morphed and changed directly in response to the
users discussion forum. Think they have even had a convention or two.
