My filing system for 40+ years of negatives and slides is poor to non existent. My son had a daughter 5 months ago and I would like to scan a few pictures of him at a similar age. I can not believe how time consuming it has been to find some! My digital files are on hard drives backed up to other hard drives which I use seldom, so will hopefully be reliable. So far I have managed to keep everything on up to date storage with no problem whatsoever. I imagine that in my case the digital files will always be easier to find than the chemical ones - that is certainly the case so far. cheers Frank On 4 Apr, 2007, at 23:22, dnygr wrote: > I mostly use film still and my darkroom.
