Nothing outwardly wrong until "the checkup", and then the doctor tells you that the additional stress of buying an M8, and the worry that it'll die within a month, will kill you, so you never buy an M8 but continue to wish you did? .... ie. it's a problem, only if you are aware that it's a problem? Otherwise, keep shooting? If the photos look fantastic, it isn't a problem? ....Vick -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+vick.ko=sympatico.ca@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+vick.ko=sympatico.ca@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Dave Mason Sent: Sunday, April 01, 2007 12:36 PM To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] More M8 questions To stray slightly off-topic - this reminds me about last year when I sent my M7 to Sherry Krauter to repair a busted rewind knob. While it was there she determined that the shutter speeds were off by quite a bit. I had no clue. KISS - Keep I Simply Stupid! Dave
