That 24-70 looks like a real asset. I mostly only read good things  
about is, and this one is yet another proof of its excellence.
Anybody with a 17-55/2.8 out there? I'm looking for first hand  
feedback. And for those that can compare: how does it do against its  
Nikon counterpart?
