I tried for a shot similar to this a month ago and Culwell & Sons, in Dallas (across from SMU), but my shot was far too dark & with grain. I don't know much about the Noctilux, but it looks like it's worth whatever you paid for it. I know that in Nikkor lenses, the "Noct" (f/1.2) is one of the rarest and sought over pieces of glass out there. I'm guessing it's true of this lens as well? I do own the Nikkor f/1.2 - it was a gift from a photographer getting out of manual gear completely - and is the reason I kept my F3 when I thinned down my camera system last year. I'll have to remember to take it with me when I go next to Dallas, although my Nikkor doesn't have the glow this lens does... (duh!). Again, awesome shot, Ric.
