I put an SD card in that I had been carrying around in my pocket (in the sd case) and then put the battery in, and exactly the same thing happened. I tried to format, and it blinked forever. Then said card full. I put the card into a reader, and it would not boot. I loaded another card, (this time the battery was in) and everything was cool.
