[Leica] For the birdlovers on the list, no images

Len:  check out the Squirrel Proof variety; some have "landing areas" 
that are spring loaded and collapse when anything heavier than a bird 
lands on it.  Another is battery operated; spins violently when 
anything heavy lands on it.  I saw a video of this one - hilarious, and 
it really works; the squirrels get pissed and stomp off the property, 
never to return.

I had to give up on feeders. The squirrels wouldn't be outdone. I 
originally had mine about 8 feet sideways from a tree branch. Well they 
just flue over and landed on the little roof. Then I moved it to the 
center of the lawn. They would climb the small metal pole. I even 
greased the pole and that didn't help. I even put large frisbee type 
disks on the pole. That didn't help. I finally gave up. The only birds 
that came around would eat the seed droppings from the squirrels.
