For week 7, a set of pictures taken locally in Newport Beach and Irvine,
CA.
 
First, a lone cyclist rides beneath the bluffs overlooking Newport Beach's
Back Bay.

Alternate 1, exposed rocks on the bluff side.  The bluffs are being  eroded
by wind and rain.

Newport's Back Bay has fallen victim to 40 years of encroaching
development. 
 A program to dredge the bay to restore the tide pools to  their original
configuration has recently begun.  I plan on documenting the  progress of
this effort in future PAWS.
