I never thought about that. But don't forget. Our type of photography is different. I primarily shoot still life and nature photography where you are the master street photographer. In your case what you first see is the scene in the height of perfect framing and content. Your second and third shot the mood may have passed. I just received a roll of slides taken at the same time as the pictures I posted. The slides are better then the digital photos. It is not a case of sharpness or color. The slides show a much better background bokeh and darker background. The main subject stands out more. In both cases the lens was the same, the Leica APO-Macro Elmarit 100mm/2.8. one of the best lenses ever made. The digital camera was the Canon 20D while the film camera was a Leica R8. With the R8 I also used Ted's "Twinkie" flash, the SF20. The flash highlighted the subject much better.
