Reminds me of Swiss magaizines where the colour of the fields of flowers was more beautiful than reality. These are documents which will be very valuable in 50 years and even more so in 100: someone will find them and you will become famous ;-) I have never tried large format: and I MUST not get tempted at this stage: too much to do and too much to catch up on, but I will look out for any more of your images As for getting to other lighthouses, the sale of that 30 would cover the airfares ;-) > Will: > > Thanks... you're too kind! > > I'd love to have the nece$$ary to be able to shoot some of Daniel's > Swedish and Douglas's English lighthouses. > > Jim > > > William Ravenel wrote: > >> A great picture of what has to be one of the most photogenic >> lighthouses around. >> >> Will >> On Feb 9, 2007, at 10:17 PM, Jim Hemenway wrote: >> >>> Hi Hop: >>> >>> I think that I've shown them all here, but perhaps not this one: >>> http://www.hemenway.com/Tugboat.jpg >>> Not a great composition... just an old navy tugboat. >>> >>> And, I don't think that I've shown this one here either, at least not >>> as large: http://www.hemenway.com/NubbleIslandLighthouse.jpg >>> >>> Both shot with 5-7 pound Schneider lenses. >>> >>> They will enlarge on most browsers if you double-click on the image. >>> >>> Jim >> > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information >
