I do recall some images of the lighthouse before, however I've never seen this particular one. It is wonderful of course. The tug boat one is certainly new to me at least. Are you still managing to find film for this big format? There should be a factory guarantee that they keep you in film for life, just to document these lighthouse scenics. Superb stuff Cheers Hoppy -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Jim Hemenway Sent: Saturday, 10 February 2007 13:18 To: Leica Users Group Subject: [Leica] A tugboat and boy fishing Hi Hop: I think that I've shown them all here, but perhaps not this one: http://www.hemenway.com/Tugboat.jpg Not a great composition... just an old navy tugboat. And, I don't think that I've shown this one here either, at least not as large: http://www.hemenway.com/NubbleIslandLighthouse.jpg Both shot with 5-7 pound Schneider lenses. They will enlarge on most browsers if you double-click on the image. Jim G Hopkinson wrote: > Hi Jim, of course you are correct regarding careful composition using the > entire frame.
