If there were two photographers taking the same photo - one with a big mega
pixed camera that he later cropped down to a panoramic perspective - and one
who planned and brought a Widelux then yes, I would 'prefer' the Widelux
photo simply because the extra efforts and the fact that the image the way
it was captured was closer to how it was later presented. There is something
about the pre-visualization IN camera and equipment instead of later at the
screen that I personally prefer.

Obviously a personal preference in how much you credit the photographer for
the process of getting the image and not one that I can rationally explain
100%. May well have something to do with the fact that I like gear and
cameras.
