We used to serve around 300 different beers, 20 on draught. Off course we also cooked with the beer and before cooking you have to taste. Some day an American came in and studied the beer list carfully. He ordered several beers but two bottles. He drank one and saved the other for his collection at home. He spent every holiday he had on beer journeys. 300 beers is peanuts. We had 300 in the cafe and several shops in Belgium and the Netherlands have way more. Off course I'm biased bey the never ending feud between Rotterdam and Amsterdam Cheers, Michiel Fokkema Jim Hemenway wrote: > For your possible interest... in Amsterdam. > > http://tinyurl.com/yp6emc > > > > It was a fair day in September, > a day I well remember, > I was walking back and forth in drunken pride. > > When my knees began to flutter, > and I fell down in the gutter, > a pig came up and lay down by my side. > > As I lay there in the gutter, > thinking thoughts I could not utter, > I thought I heard a passing lady say, > "You can tell a man who boozes > by the company he chooses. > > And, with that the pig got up > and walked away. > > > > The REAL football - Go Colts! > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > > -- Best regards, Michiel Fokkema
