Bob,
If you can hang on a few months then you can see if the new version of PS
written for OSX is as good a rumored.  With all the caveats mentioned by
Adam, I would never own another Microsoft based product again.  Get one of
the new Mac's if the new version of PS is as much a screaming wonder as is
rumored and you will quickly learn the differences in the Apple side and
move on.  You will get tighter integration of peripherals, somewhat easier
use, much less virus/spy threat at the cost of somewhat more expensive and
little ability to use games.
