A couple of years ago, I sent it in for a CLA because the aperture ring was getting very stiff. I think that cost me around 70USD. I think they are currently going for 150-200USD. If you have a good one, enjoy it. I think I have one image in my gallery using the IIIf and Summitar. I will link it below. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Motor_Glider_01.jpg.html Jim Nichols Tullahoma, TN USA ----- Original Message ----- From: "Luis Ripoll" <luisripoll@telefonica.net> To: "'Leica Users Group'" <lug@leica-users.org> Sent: Sunday, January 28, 2007 3:40 PM Subject: RE: [Leica] IMG: PAW 4 dlridings-specially to Jim > Jim, > > I absolutely agree with the " ....Summitar _is_ a very underestimated > lens. > I liked it like that (before) because it allowed me to pick one up at a > decent price...." > > For curiosity....what do you mind for a decent price?, I've paid for mine > about 200$, and I'm fully satisfied with it, please look at these > examples: > > http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=5210114 > > http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=5210116 > > I think you and me ...
