I'm still waiting to see images from the Digilux 3, or the Panasonic equivalent with the new DC Vario lens. I went into a big box store that had the Panasonic version; after discussion with the salesman about the Olympus E-500 lenses, I successfully mounted the Olympus lens on the Panny without an adaptor. Interesting possibilities. The Panasonic was listed at just over US $ 1,850.00. They only had one and it was evidently in stock by mistake; over their usual merchandise price point.
