Daniel,

Your pictures are always very nice, and the Elmar has surprised me, good
work!

Saludos cordiales

I know many think that a Leica should be used for street photography,
sticking the light box in the faces of bums, misfits, and what-not.

But I find street photography difficult in the dark, at 1/15 @ 2.0:

So later on in the week I'll try and mention some shots that I took with the
50/2.8 Elmar (LTM) that John Collier wants me to be happy with before the
sale is final. Kind of like this one:

Or with the 90/4.0 screw mount Elmar that I bought for 40 dollars on the
auction place. I had to take it apart and clean it up myself. It looked like
a wet noodle had been left on one of the internal elements to dry. I just
poured Sears Optical Eyeglass Cleaner on it and let it sit a couple of
hours. Seems the smudge was only in the coating, not etched into the glass.
This is one of them:

But I am rushed now. In between two jobs (hopefully) and ... well, sometimes
things are the pits, sometimes they're just fine.

Daniel
