We all know that the M8 has an IR problem. That knowledge and Henning's
original IR photo, were a couple of the reasons why I wanted the M8. After
having the camera for 2 full days of lousy weather, I finally decided to try
a little IR photography anyway.

The weather was cloudy, no sun. Decided to just take a picture with the Hoya
R72 Infrared filter anyway. In my backyard.

M8, 35mm Summilux Asph at f5.6, ISO 640 and filter. Camera set to aperture
priority. Normal focus, no IR shift.
The meter set the shutter to 1/30 sec and I just snapped the shot.
The exposure came out perfect. With almost no noise.

Now I'm anxious to set what the M8 can do in the Summer, with the sun out
and some nice foliage.

I know. Boring picture. Just my backyard

Len
