When we did eventually buy one, a couple of years later, it was a shop own brand which worked through a family of six for many years and we used towelling nappies (diapers) not paper. When it eventually died I checked inside and, sure enough, some of the castings were marked Zanussi. We replaced it with another Zanussi which is still going strong today. That is two machines for a family of six for 30+ years in a hard water area. Not bad I'd say. FWIW we are on our second Miele dishwasher in 9 years, and the first needed reasonably frequent expensive maintenance. Luckily the UK Miele headquarters is 6 miles away :-) Frank On 14 Jan, 2007, at 20:41, Philippe Orlent wrote: > Yep. Miele is expensive.
