I lean towards the former though most my stuff I've gotten new. But there are more perhaps counter-culture types who shoot with brassy M4's or earlier. Spurning cameras with batteries which leak or just go out on them. They may brag how cheap they got there's stuff for next to nothing sometimes. Keeping their camera always with them in a 5 dollar olive army surplus thing with no padding. Maybe not using a meter or maybe using an old Selenium 90. Glowing in their top pocket. Not the first types you are going to find walking around with an shiny half way into 5 figures M8. Despite how much fun they may be having with their digital DSLRs. And despite that they have plenty in the bank and no kids going to college. And despite yearnings to get back to using their Leica glass and shooting rangefinder. But really being intrigued by the whole digital thing. I almost said "workflo". I almost said "actually". By the way a CDS meter stands for I just looked it up CADMIUM SULFIDE!!! He said glowingly.
