He said I should have more walks with M3s, M7s, and M8s, and fewer M&Ms. Best, Jim Shulman Bryn Mawr, PA -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+jshul=comcast.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+jshul=comcast.net@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of TTAbrahams@aol.com Sent: Wednesday, January 10, 2007 4:24 PM To: lug@leica-users.org Subject: [Leica] LUG 2006 Yearbook! Dear Jim, Thank you for all the work you put into the Yearbook! It just arrived and was a welcome break from trying to finalize the design for the Rapidgrip for the M8. It also has made me determined to teach myself how to scan negatives and have more of my stuff "digitally available" for next year's book! This kind of publication is interesting as it puts "pictures" to the names on the LUG. Who cares what we look like, it is the pictures we take that will stay on - if they are archivally processed and in case of digital, continuously reformatted. To a dedicated analog shooter it is comforting to see that there are more of us out there still souping film and using the old Leicas. Brian also deserves thanks for persevering in keeping the LUG on an even keel (more or less) and without whom we would not have this community of photographers to talk to and occasionally heap accolades on or bitch about. Thanks again to the both of you! - Jim I suspect that the manufacturers have shrunk the inches and that the battle with 38" waist is a manufacturing problem!
